They focus on the training of teachers who work in technological teaching, in priority, correlating with: (i) the studies of the main processes of production of scientific knowledge from the discontinuities and historical permanences, in dialogue with the main theoretical approaches present in the History of Science and; (ii) the research on the discussions about how knowledge production occurs in Brazil, more specifically in the Amazon region, in terms of scientific and technological development.

They focus on investigating, among teachers who train in undergraduate courses, the impressions and sense of these teachers attributed to the Professional Education Training and how this formation is linked to research, considering it a formative and pedagogical principle in teacher training. To do so, it is based on qualitative research, especially on the narrative approach, being configured as a technique and procedure of data production, subsidizing the study of training and teaching work in its most diverse aspects.
